Blank screen of death

Rodolfo Campos
Friends,

I'm new to cakephp and can't figure out yet how to see the first blogs example (I always see a blank screen).
My computer has debian sarge, postgres, php5 with apache2.

Thanks in advance for your help,

--------------

I put on my browser: http://localhost:8080/fya/posts/index. The cake's package is into the root directory.

Here's my default configuration file (apache2/sites-available/)
NameVirtualHost *:8080
<VirtualHost *:8080>
    ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost

    DocumentRoot /var/fya/
    <Directory />

        AllowOverride All
    </Directory>
    <Directory /var/fya/>
        Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
        AllowOverride All
        Order allow,deny
        allow from all
    </Directory>

    ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/
    <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin">

    # alert, emerg.
    LogLevel warn

    CustomLog /var/log/apache2/access.log combined
    ServerSignature On

    <Directory "/usr/share/doc/">
        Options Indexes MultiViews FollowSymLinks

        Order deny,allow

        # This directive allows us to have apache2's default start page
                # in /apache2-default/, but still have / go to the right place

        Allow from 127.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 ::1/128
    </Directory>

</VirtualHost>

I've copied the example exactly from: http://manual.cakephp.org/appendix/blog_tutorial, configured the config/database.php, adds the symbolic link from /etc/apache2/mods-available/rewrite.load to /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/

And I added this lines to the apache2.conf file:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    <Directory "/var/fya">
        AllowOverride FileInfo
    </Directory>
</IfModule>

Any help that you can bring to me should be very helpfuly.

Regards,

Rodolfo
